We try to grow a large vegetable garden every year. There is nothing better than fresh, home grown produce. Our garden is about 30 x 40 feet and we can or freeze most of the food that we grow. We usually have enough corn, broccoli and zipper peas to last all year.

This year we've added a few new things. We planted 6 blueberry bushes this year so we should have blueberries next year. We are also expermenting with tea plants this year. It will be several years before the plants are big enough to get tea leaves from them but Lawrence is really excited about them. We also removed the two old pear trees and replaced them with Fuji and Granny Smith apple trees.
