We currently own 4 horses, 3 of which are mostly retired. The farm consists of about 10 acres, mostly pasture with a 2 stall barn. The barn also has a grooming stall and a tack/feed room. There is a hay room off the side which can hold approximately 140 bales of hay. Lawrence keeps lumber stacked under cover on the other side. We also have a run-in shed so all the horses can find shelter in inclement weather. Our riding ring is in the very back of the property, is 100x200ft and has river sand footing. The arena has lights and mirrors. A small creek runs through the back of the property as well.
Joliet
Joliet is an Anglo/Trakehner/Paint mare about 14.3hh. Purchased in 2004 as a green broke 6 year old, she has been shown through Training Level and has won GDCTA end-of-the-year awards twice.
Sam Stargazer
Sam is a QH gelding, about 15.3hh. He was purchased in 1994 as a 5 year old. Rideen primarily by Lawrence, he has been successfully shown through 2nd Level and is currently retired from the show ring.
Chester
Chester is a TB gelding, aproximately 16hh. He was foaled in 1989 and purchased in 2006 for our daughter. An ex-eventer, he was also shown dressage through 2nd level. Unfortunately, the daughter gave up riding soon after so now Chester is mostly a pasture ornament.
Tonka
Foaled in 1981, Mary Lou has owned Tonka since she was a weanling. No longer rideable due to a small stroke, she is now a companion horse for Joliet.
